Interior design and landscaping are a major part of the overall package of how a house looks and feels. For a rich family living in San Francisco their house will be full of small intricate details that increase its value and set it apart from the rest whereas a mud shack in Africa is built for survivability from the elements.

Window house shutters are merely one example of how a house can be different from one another. Some homes have elaborate window frames whereas others have none, it all depends on where you live and what you can afford.

Landscaping and interior design are big business in civilized countries with lots of money. People have nothing else to spend their money on so they will upgrade their homes and lawns with various things. Some people like to have luscious green grass and others like to have lots of flowers.

For perfectionists there is always something that can be done to enlighten their home. For some people it is almost like a hobby.
